Childcare for sick or recovering children

When the children of working parents are sick or still recovering from an illness and unable to attend their regular kindergarten or childcare center, these 5 special designated childcare facilities in association with pediatric clinics, can temporarily look after the child so the parent can go to work.

How to Use

Registration in advance at the center you wish to use is necessary the first time you use it. It is possible to register on the same day you wish to use the center. You'll require a special medical certificate from your pediatrician.

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays),8:30am-5:30pm

Cost:2,000 yen per day

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays, and on days the associated pediatric clinic is closed), 8:30am-5:30pm

Cost:2,000 yen per day, 1,000 yen per 4 hours

Hours of operation:Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays), 8am-5:45pm

Cost:2,000 yen per day, 1,000 yen per 4 hours

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays, and on days the associated pediatric clinic is closed), 8:15am-5:30pm

Cost:100 to 200 yen per hour

Cost:2,000 yen per day
