Free Rubella Antibody Screening & Vaccination

Men born between April 2, 1962 (Showa 37) and April 1, 1979 (Showa 54) are eligible for subsidized antibody screenings and vaccination against rubella. If using the coupons sent out by Takasaki, the test becomes free and is valid once per person. The antibody screening can be scheduled until Friday, February 28, 2025 regardless of the expiration date printed on the coupon.

If vaccination is required, the coupon can also be used until Monday, March 31st 2025 to make it free. A list of clinics offering the screening was included in the same information packet that was mailed out or can be found on the Takasaki City website. There are times when this can be done at the same time as a full body screening (a ningen dokku, 人間ドック in Japanese).
