Free vaccination against measels and rubella

A two-in-one vaccine for measels and rubella is available for children for free until March 31st, 2025. Children are eligible for the vaccines at age 1 and during the year before they enroll in elementary school. After April, the vaccine is no longer free for children who are in their final year prior to starting school, so it's recommended to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

In April 2024, Takasaki City sent out a notice containing detailed information about what clinics offer the vaccine. The same information can be found on the Takasaki City official website. Those planning on doing the vaccinations outside of Takasaki should inquire at the number below.
