Designated parking spots for families with young children

Takasaki provides special parking spots in select areas that allow extra time and space to parents of young children who need it. These parking spaces are more spacious than usual ones, so that parents can take their time loading and unloading their children, strollers, etc.

Eligibility

Pregnant women, people accompanying kids under the age of 6, and other such persons are welcome to use these parking spaces.

How to use

An application is not required. Please use the spot and pay the parking fee as usual.

Joshi Daini Underground Lot

• Floor: 1st (the underground lot beneath City Hall)
• Total spots: 7
• Hours of operation: Monday through Saturday= 7:30am to 10:30pm; Sundays & holidays= 9am to 10:30pm

West Park 1000 Lot

• Floor: 2nd
• Total spots: 10
• Hours of operation: 24 hours
