Bear attacks are on the rise around the country, and Gunma is no exception. Residents are advised to take caution.

In response to the recent increase in bear sightings, the city has established the Takasaki Bear Alert Hotline, in addition to using drones to detect and study the bears in the local area. These new initiatives will help protect residents from bear attacks.
