When to call an ambulance

If you find yourself suddenly injured or unwell, but are unsure if medical attention is required, you can call the Gunma Prefectural Safety Center. Nurses and other medical staff are on call 24 hours a day and can give professional advice about whether or not an ambulance is necessary. While the consultation itself is free, call charges may apply.
