Free HPV vaccine for girls

The HPV vaccine protects against human papillomavirus, which is a virus that can cause cervical cancer. The vaccine is free for girls in grade six of elementary school through the first year of high school. It is administered in three doses, typically spaced out across six months. Those who wish to get vaccinated should do so as soon as possible. 

A list of participating clinics is available on the city website. When getting vaccinated at one located outside of Takasaki, please inquire in advance.
