Takasaki provides annual cancer screening tests for residents that allow for several tests to be taken at the one time, for a reduced fee. Test types and eligible people are noted in the table below. Tests require an appointment.

※1 Free for people aged 70 and above, and for people aged 65 and above who are receiving "seikatsu hogo" welfare, or who are in a low income bracket that is not required to pay resident tax.
※2 People who smoke may also require a sputum test that will incur an additional fee of 500 yen.
