Takasaki City Disaster Information Email

Takasaki City sends email alerts in cases of emergencies, such as fires, natural disasters, evacuation orders, and more. This can be a resource for information when such emergencies occur. These alerts are now available in other languages via machine translation. Registration is required.

Available languages

Email alerts are available in the following 6 languages:

• English
• Portuguese
• Chinese (traditional and simplified)
• Vietnamese
• Korean

How to register

Anyone with a smart phone or computer can sign up easily. Please scan the QR code seen in the PDF below; this will automatically open a blank email in the default email app, which can be sent as is.

If the email app does not open, open the preferred email account and send a blank email to the applicable address below.

How to cancel registration

Those who no longer wish to receive the email alerts can cancel their registration any time. Find the links at the bottom of a previous email and search for "change or unsubscribe" (変更・配信停止 in Japanese). Then click the link that says "unsubscribe" (配信停止 in Japanese). 

Those who wish to change the registered email address will first need to unsubscribe, and then register again using the new email address.

• The email alerts are generated using machine translation and may not always be accurate. Takasaki City cannot bear any responsibility for these inaccuracies.
• Registration is free, but the costs associated with sending and receiving emails will be born by the user
• Email alerts may be sent at any time, day or night
• Before registering, users should check that their email account is set up to receive emails from @raiden2.ktaiwork.jp; if unsure about how to do that, please contact the cellphone company
