Every July, Takasaki sends out several announcements regarding National Health Insurance (NHI). Be sure to check the ones relevant to you when they arrive in the mail.
Insurance rates for both regular members and members of the Latter-stage Elderly Healthcare system have been adjusted for Reiwa 8 (which runs from July 2026 to June 2027). A notice will be sent that contains more information along with the payment slips. Be sure to pay each one on time. For more information about payment deadlines, see here.
Members of NHI can verify their health insurance information with different types of certificates. Every type of certificate will get renewed and sent to members in the mail unless otherwise noted. Please use the new one from August.
